May 8, 2008

PureVision Technology, Inc., a leader in developing biorefining technologies, announced the addition of Ms. Florence Mostaccero to its executive team in the capacity of Vice President, Business Process Development. Ms. Mostaccero, a seasoned chemical engineer, business development leader and experienced operations manager, and soon to be a MBA graduate from University of Denver, joined the PureVision team during April.

Before joining PureVision and for the past 6 years, Ms. Mostaccero worked for the Coors Brewing Company in the capacity of Vice President, Technical Services and Business Process Development. At Coors, she managed a technical services group responsible for capital execution, manufacturing optimization, automation and technical services. She and her team were responsible for the rollout of World Class Manufacturing Business Processes as well as the design and construction of a $330 million automated brewery, resulting in a 200% improvement in the labor cost per barrel.

From 1980 through 2002 Ms. Mostaccero worked for Jacobs Engineering Group, one of the world’s largest and most diverse providers of professional technical services with annual revenues exceeding $8 billion. During her twenty-year career with Jacobs she worked in the capacities of project management, operations management, and engineering management. She also worked in the refining, polymers, pharmaceutical, and food and beverage industries with strong background in technical scale-up and process commercialization. On behalf of Jacobs, Ms. Mostaccero had worldwide responsibility for development and improvement of alliance programs and relationships employing over 20,000 personnel focused on engineering, procurement and construction services.

At PureVision, Ms. Mostaccero will be involved in managing engineering programs and business development initiatives related to commercializing the PureVision technology. “We are honored to welcome Flo Mostaccero to the PureVision team,” stated Ed Lehrburger, PureVision’s President and CEO. “Her chemical engineering experience and background in managing large engineering projects will accelerate the commercialization of the PureVision biomass conversion technology, which will entail developing large-scale cellulosic biorefineries around the world,” he said.

Colorado-based PureVision has been developing and scaling up a unique biomass conversion technology since 1999, known as biomass fractionation. The PureVision technology rapidly converts cellulosic biomass, including corn stalks, wheat straw and woody biomass into fermentation sugars, lignin and fiber. These bio-based raw materials can be used to produce a wide range of products, including cellulosic ethanol. The company is working with collaborators throughout the US, Canada, Europe and other regions of the world to finance, scale up and commercialize its patented biorefining technology.
