Instead of refining
petroleum to make hydrocarbon derivatives such as fuels and
plastics, the PureVision technology refines biomass (wood,
agricultural and paper wastes, energy crops, etc.) into
sugars, fiber, energy, and fuel. The sugars are raw
materials that can be used for making many products such as
bio-plastics, ethanol, acetic acid and other chemicals.
